Lincoln MKS, a full-sized luxury sedan - Lincoln luxurious touch is unmistakable. While the 2016 MKS had reports of drivetrain problems, few complaints were logged for remaining model years.
Lincoln MKZ is a mid-size luxury sedan with four doors and comfortably seating five passengers. Recent models have only sporadic reports of issues or problems. However, if you own one of the early models (2007 and 2008) of Lincoln MKZ, you should be aware that there were issues with deteriorating rims and interior accessories.
Lincoln Continental comes in both mid-size and full-size, and lives up to the Lincoln luxury brand reputation. Lincoln Continental offers plenty of power, luxurious ride, and plenty of interior room. We have heard sporadic reports of interior accessories issues.
Lincoln Navigator is a full size luxury SUV that has been manufactured for two decades. It maintains Lincoln luxury reputation. Most Lincoln Navigator owners report few problems, except for the 2006 and 2007 models which had some engine issues, and the 2003 Navigator which suffered from suspension problems.
Lincoln MKT is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV with 3 row seating. Lincoln MKT year 2010 had some a/c and heater problems, and electrical problems as well. Other MKT model years show few, if any, problem reports.
Lincoln Aviator is mid-size Lincoln luxury SUV offering comfort, plenty of room, and luxurious ride. While the Aviator manufactured in 2003 had transmission issues, and 2005 Lincoln Aviator had problems with external accessories, recent models report few significant issues.
Lincoln Corsair is a compact luxury crossover to fill out the Lincoln brand. Lincoln Corsair is considered a replacement for the outgoing Lincoln MKC. It was introduced in 2019. Currently it is considered to be the best-selling model in the Lincoln lineup. There are few Corsair problem reports so far. At Toole’s Garage we offer full range of Corsairs maintenance and repairs.
Lincoln MKX is a mid-sized luxury crossover SUV. After more than a decade in production, in 2019 it was renamed Lincoln Nautilus. There have been some problems with the 2007 Lincoln MKX model which had transmission issues, and the 2011 MKX had electrical problems. More recently, the 2016 model suffered from engine problems.
Lincoln Town Car is the iconic Lincoln – a full-sized luxury sedan with a truly fine ride and plenty of interior room. There are reports that 1999 Town Car could suffer from cracked intake manifold. Early 21st century models, specifically 2003 and 2004 Town Car had problems with spark plugs.
Lincoln Nautilus debuted in 2019. It’s a mid-size crossover luxury SUV. Nautilus is considered a “replacement” for the Lincoln MKX. So far there is very little information about Nautilus maintenance or repair issues. We do know that some 2019 Nautilus vehicles have transmission issues described as “harsh shifting”.
Lincoln LS was a short-lived (7 years) four-door, five-passenger luxury sedan. In the year 2000, “Motor Trend” magazine named it “Car of the Year”. Lincoln LS also received very high marks for safety. Generally reliable, 2002 Lincoln LS suffered from spark plugs and ignition coil issues, while the 2006 model had a/c problems.
